Hope you and yours are safe aswell. Hereby a "make-it-at-home" vegan Kapsalon recipe.
What you need:
* Plant based Shoarma meat. This can be made by mixing plant-based "chicken chunks" from Vegetarian Schlager with a shoarma spice mix (chili, garlic, cumin, curry powder, salt, paprika powder and a tiny bit of cinnamon) or buy it ready made, f.ex. from Vivera.
* French fries
* Vegan cheese
* Garlic sauce. This can be made by mixing unsweetened soya yoghurt (500ml) with 3-4 garlic cloves, 2 tblsspoons za'atar, juice of one lemon and a bit of salt and pepper.
* Sri Racha
* Sliced iceberg
* Small, cubed tomatoes
* Small, cubed cucumber
* Pickled onions
* Pomegranate seeds
* Chopped koriander and mint
How?
Fry the shoarma meat until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cook french fries, f.ex. with frozen fries that go in the oven or fry potatoes in oil at a high temperature. Once these elements are cooked, pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius and arrange elements on a plate as follows: Fries, shoarma meat and cover with a layer of vegan cheese. Place in the oven until cheese has melted, then remove and give it a generous splash of garlic sauce and drizzle with sri racha. Then add the vegetables on top, place another layer of sauces and garnish with koriander, mint, pomagranate seeds and pickled onions.
